Charles Clemons, MD

Biography:
Charles Clemons, MD, is a retired Pediatrician from The Permanente Medical Group in Northern California.
Since retiring, he has worked at various other places including teaching in the Department of Pediatrics at the University Teaching Hospital (UTH) in Lusaka, Zambia. They support AIDS orphans in Zambia and try to improve education and capacity at UTH.

I joined the OB-GYN Department of Northwest Permanente in July 1973, one year after completing my residency in Michigan. From 1983 until 1999, I was Chief of the OB-GYN Department and retired from Northwest Permanente in November 2001.
