Shamsi Daneshvari, PhD
I am the Biomedical Informatics Fellow at the University of New Mexico’s Health Science Library and Informatics Center. My research is focused on the creation and validation of metadata for a proposed database of full-body, high-resolution, 3-D cadaveric images and associated metadata.
I received my PhD in Biological Anthropology in 2011 from the University of New Mexico. My dissertation research created new and improved methods to estimate the body mass of unknown individuals from their skeletal remains.
