Stephen Weiss, MD, DMH

  • Biography:

    I practiced as an Internist with The Permanente Medical Group for over 20 years. Before medical school I received a doctorate in mental health and practiced psychotherapy. 

  • As a physician and psychotherapist my job was listening. To me, a photograph is a form of visual listening.  I retired from TPMG in 2010 because of complications from a bicycling accident. I have been doing photography most of my life and thankfully it was there to help fill the void left by my unplanned retirement from practice.
