• Biography:

  I have been a family physician with Kaiser Permanente in Orange County, CA for the past 31 years, 28 years as the Family Medicine Residency Program Director. 

• I try to practice my photographic artistic ideas when on exotic trips, however I now find that some of my best pictures come with my Samsung phone.  In my fulfilling career, I serve on the ACGME Family Medicine Review Committee. I am a national expert on appropriate opioid prescribing and recently had an article published on this topic in The Permanente Journal. I am a frequently invited lecturer on residency education as well as appropriate opioid prescribing locally, statewide, and nationally.
