"Tea in the Garden" by Barbara Poole, RN, is a mixed media, three-dimensional box painting
with a handmade chair and fence (13x13). For many years, Ms Poole painted in watercolor, mostly
in friends' gardens. Recently, she has begun to make nonconventional hand-pressed monoprints and to paint
in oil encaustic, creating what she calls "memory paintings" that come from events or interactions
with people. She has also begun constructing three-dimensional box paintings with handmade objects
inside, one of which hangs at the KP Petaluma facility. Ms Poole has an art degree and teaching credential.
