John E Fortune, MD

• Biography:

  I'm an orthopaedic surgeon in practice at Kaiser San Jose since 1991.

• I'm from a large family of musically and artistically talented siblings (seven of us) but I was always the "science kid," with illegible handwriting and unable to draw a straight line. 

  Thankfully, with the advent of digital photography, I was also able to participate in the wonderful creative world of the arts. Influenced by my Orthopaedic training, I put together a series of medically themed digital images which can be found here:  http://www.pbase.com/johnebones/neurasthenia_gallery   

  I have been fortunate enough to have some of my artwork displayed in galleries across the country including San Francisco, Chicago, and New Orleans. All thanks to the science of digital photography!
