I am a retired Pediatrician from the South Bay Medical Center in Harbor City, CA. I served as Chief of Pediatrics for 24 years.

Living with the beauty of the Palos Verdes Peninsula and traveling to many parts of the world have deeply influenced me as an artist. I have been artistically inspired by the people, architecture, and magnificent landscapes of our glorious globe and believe that we live in a world of inspiration.

These influences are evident in my work. My subjects are varied and range from people and animals to still lives, landscapes, and seascapes. I work primarily on canvas in both oils and acrylics. Composition, color, and light are of great importance to me and I strive to create a balance of these elements in my work. Balance of another kind is also important. As an artist, I strive to exercise the right brain, whereas my work as a physician affords me the opportunity of using the left brain. And, hopefully, each endeavor influences and enhances the other.
